CodeCrew is transforming Memphis by providing extensive coding education through various programs such as summer camps, after-school programs, in-school electives, internships, and special events. Since our inception in 2015, we have taught over 11,800 students, primarily focusing on black and Latino youth and encouraging girls to code. Our curriculum covers mobile and web app development, game development, robotics, and drone programming, all while teaching fundamental computer science concepts. Our programs range from in-school classes in JavaScript and Python to after-school and weekend activities using Scratch and Unity. We also offer summer camps, an app publishing program, internships with tech companies, and a Code School for adults to become entry-level software developers. Our goal is to provide practical experience and essential skills for success in the tech industry.
