Designed for Kindergarten through 4th grade, with lessons that grow alongside your child’s curiosity.
Early computer science learning that inspires curiosity and creativity
CodeCrew’s elementary programs introduce students to computer science through hands-on exploration, creative problem-solving, and interactive learning experiences designed to build confidence early.
Through games, storytelling, teamwork, and hands-on activities, students explore computer science concepts in ways that feel engaging, approachable, and fun. Programs are designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration while helping students grow their confidence over time.
Frequency
1 session per week, 90 minutes each (Tuesday or Thursday options available)
Grades
K–2: Curious Coders
3–4: AI Explorers
Goals
- Introduce foundational computer science concepts
- Encourage creativity and problem-solving
- Build confidence through hands-on exploration
- Support collaboration and communication
Our program helps kids develop core computer science skills like sequencing, loops, and conditionals, while exploring age-appropriate AI concepts such as pattern recognition and machine learning. With STEM in every lesson, students strengthen problem-solving through play, teamwork, and the joy of creating and innovating.
Children build early confidence in computational thinking, exploring sequencing, loops, and pattern recognition through play. They strengthen problem-solving and digital literacy, learn responsible technology use, and discover how creativity and logic bring their ideas—and code—to life.
Our K–4 computer science programs run throughout the school year and select summer sessions, with flexible class times for busy families and small group learning that ensures personalized attention.
2. Do kids need coding experience?
No experience needed! We start with block-based coding like Scratch Jr., making learning fun and easy.
3. What will my child learn?
Kids build digital literacy, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills through playful, hands-on projects.
4. How does play fit into learning?
Play inspires innovation. Children create stories, games, and animations while developing logic and creativity.

AI for kids
Join us for an Hour of AI with CodeCrew! This free, hands-on introduction to AI literacy, created in partnership with CSforALL, is designed to bridge the gap between technology and creativity. Students learn how artificial intelligence shapes the world around them, and gain the confidence to become creators—not just consumers.
