This Memphis native spent a year at Tennessee State University studying computer science but found that college really wasn’t for him. “We weren’t coding but reading about coding,” Jayden shared. “I’m a hands-on learner and It was difficult to learn by studying theory.” “One of my mother’s co-workers recommended CodeCrew’s adult coding school to me, I applied and was accepted. The program took nine months. “When people hear coding and computer science they think numbers, math, hard logic, and, of course, those have their place in the field. But there’s a lot of creativity and it’s exciting for me to create unique solutions to problems.

Our program helps kids develop core computer science skills like sequencing, loops, and conditionals, while exploring age-appropriate AI concepts such as pattern recognition and machine learning. With STEM in every lesson, students strengthen problem-solving through play, teamwork, and the joy of creating and innovating.
Children build early confidence in computational thinking, exploring sequencing, loops, and pattern recognition through play. They strengthen problem-solving and digital literacy, learn responsible technology use, and discover how creativity and logic bring their ideas—and code—to life.
Our K–4 computer science programs run throughout the school year and select summer sessions, with flexible class times for busy families and small group learning that ensures personalized attention.

No experience needed! We start with block-based coding like Scratch Jr., making learning fun and easy.
